I was looking for a specific watch for my boyfriend and didn't want to pay the outrageous prices at local jewelery stores. Ashford's had the best price and nicest designed website. I was also extremely impressed when I ordered the watch and opted for next day air to make it in time for Christmas and it was delivered without a hitch. I would definitely shop here again.

A HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE AT ASHFORD! Please save yourself the grief and NOT shop at Ashford.com. I have gone through the most terrible experience with them. I first purchased a Burberry bag from them after reading the constant assurance of "Authenticity Guaranteed." WHAT A LIE. Please refer to the BizRate customer review as well. Type, "Bizrate customer reviews" into google and you shall see they other ratings. Observe the many complaints of Ashford selling REPLICA handbags. I received my Burberry bag in the worst possible condition. The dustbag was dirty, the bag was dirty, the straps had loose stitching and the quality was very very very poor. I called customer service for a replacement. They were semi-helpful with some slight rudeness. My replacement came in better condition but it just did not seem right to me. I took it to an authorized Burberry retailer, very well known department store. The Burberry specialist manager thoroughly examined the bag for me and told me she had NO DOUBT it was a replica. We even compared it with the same one they had at the store. MAJOR DIFFERENCES. The price for the authentic Burberry at the store was the same price Ashford.com charged me, FOR A FAKE ONE! I called customer service at Ashford and told them what I had just found out. The salesperson on the phone was not able to make a decision in this matter so I asked for a supervisor. She answered the phone very exasperated and said, "So you just want to return the bag right" in a way that implied that I should stop making trouble. Just like a customer review I saw on Bizrate, she continued to give me that speech about how Burberrys are made worldwide and there will be variations. She continued to say that retailers of course would tell me that it was not authentic due to online merchants growing competitiveness. It was EXACTLY what another customer on Bizrate wrote on her review about a replica Prada. CONSUMERS, this is an alert. They are taught what to say when they inquiries about replicas!!!! I asked to speak to SEVERAl corporate officals but was denied permission and just given an address to write a letter. I told her to stop telling me that. I work in high end retail luxury goods as well and there is NO SUCH thing as variations of the same bags using different stitch patterns, buckles, tags, etc! WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE LYING TO? I called Burberry headquarters and told them of my situation. There is no such thing as their so called "variations" just as I knew. With these reputable luxury brands, there is a consistency in standards, which is what makes a brand so highly valued. I am shocked they are Forbes recommended according to the Forbes logo on their website, which is what led to believe their credentials. I am alerting all these organizations and the Better Business Bureau and anything, or anywhere else of their underhanded poor business integrity. Please, they are not an authorize dealer of luxury bags directly from the parent company. Just a few icons and logos on their website is not enough credentials to shop there. I have purchased from ashford.com on numerous occasions previously, and I must admit that the customer service has been quite helpful and consistent. With that said, my last experience with Ashford.com was unacceptable. I purchased a watch as a gift and within two weeks it stopped running. I wrapped the watch, which was in perfect condition, examined it thoroughly, and then packaged it with the utmost care (about 5 layers of protective material), the packaging had to be put into a box the size of a shoe box by the time I am done with it. About a month later I received the watch back, it was wrapped in Ashford packaging which was intact, and it seemed to offer adequate protection. I opened the package, and to my astonishment, the watch was thoroughly scratched! Given my past positive experience with Ashford, I was shocked. I called the customer service immediately and spoke with the first-line representative, and of course got no where with her. The representative kept putting me on hold while she conferred with her manager Theresa Fonrouge, after about 40 minutes of tag, I finally was able to speak directly with Ms. Fonrouge. By that time I was visibly upset, and after much negotiation, she offered me a $50 gift certificate. That to me was an insult, for a $275 watch, she offered me $50 to shut me up, it was an overt insinuation that I was responsible for the damages. I kept insisting on a fair compensation, and at the end of the conversation, Ms. Fonrouge promised to investigate the incident further and contact me by the end of the week, that was the third week of February. It is now March 17th, and not a single call from Ashford. I am thoroughly disappointed in Ashford.com, and will continue to pursue this. Full Review

I try to buy the Tissot watch. It has to be the international order with shipping address in USA and the Ashford policy required the copy of ID card and the credit card to be mailed or faxed. The copy of it was mailed to them immediately but my order was not proceed. After a five days when nothing had happened I make a phone call to customer support and get the explanation that they did not get the message so I resend the message and after a day when still nothing change I send them also a fax. After that I got the message that the order is backorder so I have to wait for another days. 14 days after I make my order I was informed that the watch did not pass quality test (whatever this mean) and that I should change my order. I check the web page of Ashford and found out that they withdraw the watch with steel belt bat that they still have the one with the leather belt and so I did change my order to Tissot T  touch watch with leather belt. After a day I get the message that even this one is not available. As they relay complicate with approval of my order and after that they suddenly havent have the watch they have on sale and my order status even a several day after this message still backorder I truly hope that they did not just collect my information for same queer purpose. I am sure it was my first and last time I try to shop via Ashford. Full Review

I paid for overnight delivery and gift wrap to have a gift for my wife on Valentine's Day only to find out after I clicked the submit button that "signature in person" was required for delivery and would not be home to sign for the package. I wanted to immediately cancel the order but found that once an item is submitted there is no way to cancel the order online with their system (which you can easily do with Amazon). I had hoped UPS would just leave the item, but they did not this Friday and Valentine's Day is Monday. Because it usually takes UPS a day or two to reroute a package I will unlikely be able to get the item until Tuesday, missing Valentine's Day. Full Review

I placed my orders on Dec. 16 for the holiday gifts and also paid for 2nd Day Air delivery. They took my orders and did NOT memtion about anything "BACK ORDER" Since today, Dec. 19 I got the message from "Ashford", which my orders NOW are in "BACK ORDER". What a surprise!! And at last minute I need to find other items to shop for my family, What a WASTE my time after all these!!! Not to recommended to anyone I know...

Ashford is selling REPLICAS. Do not buy brand names from them. Replicas are cheap, cost only $10. I just bought a Prada bag from them for more than $400 and its a fake. I'm really dissappointed. I know they used to sell authentic stuff and not anymore. The authenticity cards are a total replicas too. check the numbers and you know what i mean

I placed an order on an international credit card. Although I have successfully used this credit card to make purchases at other merchants, the order was held until I send 3 other forms of identification. I cancelled the order and will not attempt to order from them again
