Barnes and Nobles : is a great place to shop for the hard to find books! They have a great selection and always are fully stocked and they are there to help you! You recieve that feeling as soon as you enter the store! It is a friendly atmosphere and they make you feel right at home once you enter the door! Although there are internet stores who try to undersell B&N, the huge selection of progressive inventory has made them my favorite place to buy music CD's. Their checkout system is also easy and the "wishlist" function is very helpful. I've tried the other retailers, but no one compares for the total shopping experience. Thanks, Barnes & Noble for being online!

Barns&nobels was great 4 me, i ordered 5 cds 1 4 me and 4 4 other friends and they were great, everything came on time and thats all...all i have 2 say is they were great for a cheap price

Well, B&N is a good place to shop for books, I mean it's better than Wal-Mart or buy.com. It is sort of expensive and the customer service isn't that good, but you don't really need that to have a good bookstore.

They need to be more clear on their shipping policy. If you place a order on Friday (any time on Friday) it does not get shipped out until Monday. So if they offer free 3 day shipping and you order it on Friday, you will not receive it until Thursday the week after (a total of 6 days). That goes for next day shipping also, it does not ship until Monday. So you are paying extra to receive your products 4 day later. That is not very helpful if you are counting on receiving your order right away. Full Review

Ordered books on 12/20/04 with their fast and free delivery with website stating I should receive the books within 3 business days if they were in stock. Website stated all but 1 item was in stock so I expected it to be delivered later. They have changed shippers. Books sat between factory and mailer for 10 days, received part of order on 01/04/05, part of order on 01/05/05 and still waiting for the last part. Customer service stated that the books were 'shipped' within the stated time but obviously they weren't. They have lost a long time customer. Full Review

I have Barnes and Noble card with an in-store and on-line discount but my family no longer lets me order from bn.com. Although bn.com claims things are in stock it usually takes them weeks to initiate shipment. My family makes me buy at Amazon now. The bn.com price with the discount isn't worth the hassle. My daughter is also begining to be annoyed by the stores. She wanted peppermint hot chocolate at Christmas and was only able to get it in 1 of 5 attempts at three different stores. Seems they couldn't ship the peppermint either. Full Review

Barnes & Noble did not ship my second CD and refused to issue a refund. I had to go through my credit card dealer to get the difference. Simply put they stink. Oh yeah, they will bombard you with e-mails and share your ID with every vendor on this planet. Good luck with these losers.
