Simply put: -I ordered 5 items, all which said "in-stock" in mid-August. -I've only received two items and it is mid-September. -My mailbox is full, from their automated "backorders." -They backordered three of my items two times. -They finally made a shipment on ONE item today. -And told me the fourth item was canceled. -Then, the last item was backordered for the third time and I should expect to receive it in mid-October. Called customer service to cancel remaining orders, in which I barely even remember what the items are anymore. I asked them why this was happening. She snapped at me and said that their technical department handles the website updates. So, WARNING. When an item runs out, the site doesn't update until more than a week later. Absolutely disgusted with this store. Full Review papacabo2005 Beware that Bare Necessities will show an item in stock and even show an expected ship date but then will send out an email saying shipping is delayed a month. I had ordered an item that I knew was out of stock everywhere but BN showed it in stock. Thinking it was too good to be true, I contacted customer service to make sure they were shipping it. They said it would ship the next day. Then the email came saying it was delayed a month. The first customer service rep. was arugmentative and didn't understand my frustration. Her supervisor was a little more understanding and said she would discuss this issue with management. Just be careful if you're looking for a specific item and need it in a short period of time.
