I sent flowers to my girlfriends work address for our anniversary; however she ended up taking that day off to surprise me. I called up 1800flowers and they were able to change the address to her apartment and send the flowers that same day with no problem. The flowers looked great and she loved them. These guys are the best!!

I ordered Sympathy flowers around 12 pm and when I went to the funeral home after work, I saw that they were delivered the same day as I had requested. The flower arrangement were more beautiful in person than in the picture. Their pricing was also more affordable than other major florist companies. -From San Jose, CA

800-flowers.com did a great job with my order. I got an email confirmation to let me know everything was ready to go. Then I got another email when the flowers where delivered. The hardest thing about their site is picking something from so many great things. I will always use this website in the future.

Every experience I've had with 1-800-Flowers.com has been positive. I have sent flowers to my family and friends many times from this company, and I have never had a complaint. They even e-mail you an order confirmation and a delivery confirmation, so you could be sure that your order got there.

I ordered flowers for my mom. They were delivered on the day I asked them to be. She was very happy with how fresh they were. They lasted over 7 days without any special care. If I need to send flowers again, I will look at 1-800-Flowers.

I have never been disappointed with the quality and services I received. When I have been on the other side of the world, I could always count on my order being processed and delivered on time. Thanks for being available.

Very poor customer service. Not trained. It ook me three months to get a Xmas present mix up straigtened out before finally giving up and asking my money back. I guess they are great for flowers, but not for apparel.

Although it's easy to purchase flowers from 1800flowers.com, the delivery and quality of the product leave a lot to be desired - And delivery and quality are what matters when in comes to flowers. I recently ordered a surprise for my wife, to be delivered to her business address. 1800flowers.com knew it was for a business address as it asked the location type when placing the order, which I specified as business. During the day they were to be delivered I called their voice automated status system, which continually gave me the same answer that the flowers were "on the delivery van on their way to the recipient". Given this was a business delievery you'd have thought they would take business hours into account. In the end I called their customer service number and asked to speak with a human, who called the florist and then gave me the same answer as the automated service. At that point I asked for a refund, when miraculously the customer service assistant told me that the van had reached the destination. This was around 4PM, so my wife would enjot them for the hour before she came home. Usually having them at 4PM wouldn't be so bad as you'd know they would be there the next day - but that is if the flowers are fresh.. These were about as fresh as last week's left-over meatloaf and were already on their last legs. This obviously prompted me to ask for a refund, which they gave me - but the surprise was spoiled, and the moment lost. I have only used 1800flowers.com once before on St. Valentine's Day 2002, when they messed up and sent them at 9PM (wonderful delivery scheduling). So this makes me a fool for using the same bad company twice - I won't make the same mistake again. Full Review

If I could give a "zero" rating, I would as I have never been more disappointed with an online merchant. I ordered flowers for delivery to my Mom on Valentine's Day. I received a confirmation from 800-Flowers saying that the flowers were delivered on 2/14 as promised. However, when I called my Mom I discovered she never received the flowers. I called the 800-Flowers customer support and talked to the most apathetic, clueless Customer Care rep I have ever spoken to. She had no idea why the flowers were not delivered, nor was she empathetic. She offered no apology for the lousy service, but did offer to redeliver them. Unfortunately, the earliest the new replacement flower arrangement could arrive would be 2/16. On 2/16, I learned that the flowers they finally delivered were completely frozen and DEAD and not as pictured in the product description anyway. I have demanded a complete refund, but that will not change the fact that I was counting on 800-Flowers to deliver a nice flower arrangement to my mother on Valentine's Day, but instead they sent her DEAD flowers two days late. I am not doing business with this merchant ever again. Full Review

I ordered the birthday "cake" made of flowers for my 90 yr. old grandfather who lives in another state. I learned weeks later that he received a ceramic mug with lid containing a few stems of daisies. No one told me how bad it was. They thought it was what I oredered and didn't want to embarass me. The price tag was still on bottom- 12.95!! Not at all the $40+ I paid. It was so cheap my family that saw it was ashamed of me. When contacting customer service, I was told it was too late. I sent a picture of the item-- too bad, they said. I asked for the name of the florist they used and they refused to tell me. Probably afraid they would confirm what was delivered and how they ripped me off. After refusing to pay with my credit card, they offered a $15 gift certificate!!!??? Whatever! I said no thanks, I am not giving you anymore money! Since it was not able to be returned, my credit card said I had to pay. However, my credit card company reimbused me $25 as an apology for my mishap. Now that's impressive. Thanks Bank One. Full Review

I ordered from 1800flowers.com for my wife's birthday, and they could not get it right. First, I ordered it online and 30 minutes later I called to make sure that the order was received. 1800flowers said YES and that the flowers would be delivered on the 16th. I called about 9:00am on the 16th and they called the florist, everything was confirmed. So my wife got her flowers and part of the package was that she was to receive a balloon also. She got a balloon alright but it said "YOURE SO SPECIAL", NOT a Happy Birthday Balloon like I ordered. During this time from when the order was placed and the delivery, I called 3 times to make sure that everything was right. To make matters worse, I have ordered through 1800flowers two times before and they screwed those up too. One order was a day late, and the other, the flowers died after one day. I was trying to see if they could do something right, but from the experiences that I have had, I will no longer use 1800flowers.com again and I would advise NO one else should either. Full Review

I am very disappointment with Flowers.com This year (2005) I ordered special Mother's Day flowers to be delivered the Friday before Mother's Day. When I called on Mother's Day... no flowers. I called Flowers.com on Monday.. they said they would deliver my order ASAP. Tuesday.. no flowers. Apparently they couldn't get a florist in her city to deliver the flowers. They might have called me, or email me, on Friday or Saturday when they knew there was a problem. I am very unsatisified, and will not use Flowers.com again. I have used them in the past.. they did deliver, but not the flowers I had paid for. I will call a local florist direct the next time I need flowers sent. I will never use Flowers.com again.. and can not recommend them. Full Review

First and foremost no one should ever choose flowers.com at all times. Unethical business practice, they take orders knowing very well that it could not be delivered on specific days of the week without informing their customers. What u pay is not what u get and it is delivered 3 days ahead due to highly disorganized management and contractors. You will not get a proper reply and they keep tossing you up and down with the contractor. This amounts to cheating people. This should be dealt with severely by reporting their unethical business means to the consumer council / court. I SINCERELY SUGGEST TO ALL THOSE WHO READ THIS REVIEW ** TRY SOME OTHER FLORIST **** A BIG **NO** to 1800flowers.com and ANGEI florist of Aurora. Full Review

Late last year (2003) I ordered 1 gift basket from this merchant. My credit card account was charged, but the gift basket was not delivered, as I found out much later. Eventually, they credited my account and issued a discount coupon for my next purchase. I was profoundly embarassed by this experience. Later I used the discount coupon and considered the incident to be over. For the this year's (2004) holidays, I ordered several gift baskets from "1-800 Flowers" for some of my business contacts. None has been delivered because of their screw-up. On the positive side, I note that they did not charge me for these non-deliveries. I suggest you look elsewhere for reliable service. Full Review

Buyer beware!! I purchased a Christmas floral arrangement online for my sister recently, and this merchant has since continued to send her (and bill my credit card!!) for subsequent floral arrangements without my knowledge. Customer service claims there is nothing they can do except that I have to cancel my credit card (even though I checked with my card company and know that no individual has stolen my information)!!! I assume it is some kind of computer glitch at 1800flowers of which they are unaware, and are unwilling to look into. I have never had this happen with another online florist, and would advise anyone else to go with the competition. Full Review

I'll never trust their service anymore. I ordered flowers to my wife who just had a surgery today. I feel guilty for not being in the hospital with her. I wish the flowers could bring my care to her. But no flowers were delivered to her today, and I was blamed by her friends. I just called the customer service and was told that their system is down today. Do you believe that excuse? No trust! No credit! How can I order a service from them?

I ordered a daisy corsage which was supposed to be made up of 5 daisies and purple monte casino. It was also supposed to be worn either on the wrist or pinned on, and it was supposed to include a boutonniere. What I got was a pin corsage with three daisies and that is it. No monte casino, no boutonniere and no ability to wear it on the wrist. Very disappointing.

We placed 3 separate orders of dozen roses for Valentine's Day last year. Each order turned out to be bruised, old, and tiny bulbs of red roses. What a waste of money. It's shocking that they would even sell them, especially at the high price we purchased them at. I would not order from 1800Flowers again.

My husband ordered flowers for me for our anniversary. Guess what they were NEVER delivered. Customer service was very rude and insisted that the flowers were delivered. No apologies and no refund. Never ever will we use that site.

turnerg79

Arrangement was nothing like what I saw online. It arrived a day late and their customer service was very unhelpful. I will call my local florist next time I want to order.
