The biggest extravaganza in horse racing is here! The Breeders’ Cup is set to take place on Friday and Saturday at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. When all is said and done, an unrivaled $26 million will have been won in 13 total races. Here are the details (all times Eastern): Follow Link Below to Watch Online. Beginning on Halloween and concluding Saturday night, the 2014 Breeders' Cup is set to deliver the final high-profile horse race on American soil. There's a total of 13 Breeders' Cup races at Santa Anita Park scheduled, but the one most will be focused on is the Grade-1, $5 million Classic on Saturday night. Here's a TV schedule for the two-day event, via BreedersCup.com: Friday, Oct. 31: 5-8 p.m. ET Saturday, Nov. 1: 3:30-8 p.m.ET Saturday, Nov. 1: 8-9 p.m. ET Click Here To Watch | Click Here To Watch The Classic is the marquee race of the event and, arguably, of the whole year in horse racing. It features four horses vying to be considered the top three-year-old of 2014. Shared Belief, the undefeated favorite, missed the Triple Crown races with a foot injury. California Chrome won this year’s Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, while Tonalist won the Belmont Stakes. Bayern came on strong after the Triple Crown races and won the Pennsylvania Derby, which included California Chrome, on Sept. 20. Washington Post horse racing columnist Andrew Beyer picked Shared Belief to win the Classic. There are so many big-time races at the 2014 Breeders' Cup that they had to split it into two days, and that leaves a handful of enticing races to catch Friday. Horse racing enthusiasts will have to wait until Saturday to see California Chrome try to finish 2014 with a bang in the Classic, but Friday's schedule will not disappoint. Only four races are on tap, with the other nine set for Saturday, but at least $1 million is on the line for each of them, and many of the world's top horses will be in action.
