    Wonderful Book!
I like this book. It is slow in parts, but one of the best. In my opinion this book is better than Great Expectations, which is more popular. This book gives insight into various walks of life in England during that time. From Mr. Micawber to Mr. Murdstone. It's very long, but worth reading. If you like Charles Dickens, you should read this book. It has a little bit everything.

I love this book. This is by far my favorite of Hawthorne's works. I love the political intrigue and mystery. Most books answer questions, but this one created them and left many unanswered. That is one of the most brilliant parts of this book! It leaves you to make inferences about the plot. Everyone could take the plot a little differently. The character relationships also evolve over the course of the book. I highly recommend for anyone who is willing to fight through the wordy parts. Still my favorite book! Just brilliant!
