Eme's review
The Diamond Necklace which is a short story about the end result and tragedy that follows the loss of a borrowed diamond necklace,is a commendable attempt by the writer to convey a good story .Despite the catchy title and a rather attention grabbing opening,he some how loses our interest by the third paragraph with long narrations and dialogues. There are also alot of unanswered questions, and it is difficult for the reader to connect with the characters.I find myself trying to fast foward to the last paragraph which was worth it and i was left breathless and rather taken unawares by the final revelation.
***Why you should read it.
..Madam Loisel piques my interest with her vain and emotional charater
..Good story line
