"In the garden, Autumn is, indeed the crowning glory of the year, bringing us the fruition of months of thought and care and toil. And at no season, safe perhaps in Daffodil time, do we get such superb colour effects as from August to November."

Melancholy
We read this book for English class and it was exceptionally sad. I would recommend you read it if you are in to drama and tragedies, and if you are over 11. The details are a bit too... detailed. I would not recommend for young children, but if you like tragic books, really great read! It is well composed and has a well-thought out story line. I loved it and hated it, because I loved the book but hated what happened in it. I definitely recommend for the older generation.
