The Awkward Age

Written almost entirely in the form of dialogue, this novel is a story of struggle between generations, as the central character and heroine, Nanda Brockenham, a "knowing" young woman at an awkward age becomes her mother's rival for the hand of the eligible, young Mr Vanderbank.
