Must-have
A book I highly recommend, the entire Maximum Ride series (which starts with this book)is a must-have--particularly if you are a James Patterson fan. Maximum Ride brings, if you want to go deep, up certain questions that make you doubt humanity itself, and how far you would go to survive. The realistic style and the mentioning of several real locations (such as The Institute for Higher Living), leads you to doubt that this book is, indeed, fiction. Also, if you are, as I am and you are sure to be if you read this book, a conspiracy theorist, this book is serious mind-food. For example, this book is about Genetically enhanced beings, which is pure science fiction--or is it? Half of the food we eat is Genetically Modified. And, on Montauk Beach(New York), several unidentifiable animals wash up. All of which where denied by the government. And, a few miles off shore, there is Plum Island research center, who ADMITTEDLY have done research with Genetics and Diseases. Coincidence? I leave that for you to decide. That's all I have to say for now--if you want more information on the topic of government coverups (such as Project Blue book, Project Paperclip,Majestic 12,etc)just send me a message. Even if I am only 12, I do happen to know about this stuff. RML_2002
